Bring on the School Spirit

Students show their creativity

Walking down the hallway, students waved hello to Mickey and Minnie on Disney Day, sat in class next to a bright colored friend on Neon Day and even found out how many people really liked OSU and OU on College Game Day.

Classrooms were filled with spirited, colorful students, who found ways to remember their favorite childhood characters. They also planned their outfits with others.

“Disney Day is my favorite because I got to dress up and match with my girlfriend,” said Cale Corntassle, 11.

Spirit Week was a week to show how creative students could really be. Students dressed up and showed how much school spirit they had, and students went full out with tutus, face paint and even tiger body suits.

“My favorite part of Spirit Week is when everyone comes together as one to show how much spirit our school really has,” said Allison Luna, 12.

“I think Spirit Week is important because it shows our love and support for our players,” Shaydee Ramirez, 12, said.
