Learning how it Works
Students learn the different forms of science
Coming into the high school, students noticed the different types of Science they could take. Those Sciences included, Physical Science, Biology I and II, Earth Science, Zoology, Anatomy, Physics, Chemistry and Forensics, that were available for them to take.
“I picked my [Science] class because I want to study life,” said Makayla Hernandez, 10, who studies Biology.
Science classes weren’t always in class. Teachers made sure there was a lab, which not only made it interesting but allowed students to learn in a different way.
“My favorite lab to do with the kids is when we make cell models out of cookies and candy because students get creative, excited, and it’s a great learning experience,” said Mrs. Haley Davis.
