He Shoots, He Scores

Boys Basketball works for another win

From practice to practice, Boys Basketball pushed themselves and worked their hardest in hopes of a successful season.

“The most challenging part about Basketball is the conditioning,” said Strauss Springwater, 10.

Dribbling to the basket, the players knew the only way to the championship was through team work.

Win or lose, the team had each other to rely on. It was more than a team. They got through the sweat and blood together, the team grew as a whole.

“Outside of games and practices, to have fun as a team, we have been to a Thunder game, college basketball games and team dinners,” said Coach Ricky Bruner.

Every player had their own techniques that made them play better and contributed different aspects to the team.

“To help improve myself at Basketball I try to get lots of sleep,” said Jake Springwater, 10.

Ending the year with what was a good season, the boys never stopped practicing to improve their skills for the game.
