Tahlequah vs. Fort Gibson

55f9a003119ea Fumble on the play, Tahlequah recovers the ball against Fort Gibson, which gave the Tigers the 1st down. “What gets me pumped for a football game is waking up knowing that it is game day and going to get Bryant’s and getting a football shaped donut, and singing the fight song all day in the halls of TMS. Football season is the most wonderful time of the year.” Lori Howard said. The Tahlequah Tigers defeated the Fort Gibson Tigers 45 to 2 at Doc Wadley Stadium. Howard was named honorary captain of the game and received a signed helmet from the team.
Senior Trae Hendricks, #14, intercepts the ball making a run to the end zone for a THS touchdown. “My favorite memory of the game was winning, because we were not supposed to beat them. #wearetherealtigers #BeatFTG” Senior Cale Corntassel, #71, said.
#44, Sophomore Cayden Aldridge prepares to make a run after #7, Kyle Lucas, senior snaps the ball. “It felt pretty great to win on Friday because of all of our hard work paid off, and we won.” Lucas said.
