Technology Services
The Tahlequah Public Schools’ Technology Services department is involved in ‘everything technology’ throughout the district. We maintain email servicing, networking, software and hardware maintenance, phone, door access, security cameras, user management (passwords, etc) as well as manage Tahlequah Public Schools’ electronic communication outlets. As computing technology spreads into other areas, we are there to lend support.

Software & Hardware
We manage a host of software ranging from major companies such as Microsoft, Apple, Google, and Adobe to small third-party applications that specialize in particular subjects.
This includes all CPU’s, chromebooks, ipads, monitors, networked printers/copiers, and other peripheral devices. Contact Technology Services for product buying recommendations.
Student Devices
Tahlequah Public Schools supplies all students from Kindergarten through 12th grade with student devices. Currently, Kindergarten and first grade receive iPads with data plans through AT&T, and 2nd grade through 12 grade receive Chromebooks.
T-Mobile, AT&T, and Verizon hotspots are also available for checkout for students 2nd grade through 12th grade. This year, hotspots will initially be checked out to current students on the open house night (August 15th, 4:00-7:00 pm). They will be checked out in the media center by our technology staff until we run out. We will continue to take forms after we run out, and students will be placed on a waiting list. We will need this form (only the signature page) to be filled out and turned in before a hotspot can be checked out. We will also have printed copies on hand that evening.
We also offer a Student Device Protection Plan for $25 per device/per year. Details can be found here.
Email & Network
Tahlequah Public Schools uses Microsoft Office 365 for email services.
Third-party contractors are often used in maintaining the fiber optic network connecting the schools together. Computer Services may use contractors or in-house employees in maintaining the internal connections and networking hardware.
WiFi is available for employees, guests, and students.
