Business Professionals of America is the nation’s leading CTSO (Career and Technical Student Organization) for students pursuing careers in business management, information technology, finance, accounting, office administration, and other business-related career fields.

With 45,000 members in over 1,800 chapters across 25 states and Puerto Rico, as well as an international presence in China, Haiti and Peru, BPA is an organization that supports business and information technology educators by offering co-curricular exercises based on national standards.

Tahlequah BPA consists of an average of 15 – 30 students each year that participate in leadership meetings and activities that are geared towards attending BPA Fall Leadership Conference in Norman and State Leadership Conference in Tulsa. They also hold fundraising events and participate in social activities to help each other and the local Tahlequah community. Events such as hosting the Annual BPA Talent Show in February and helping with the Backpack Program for The Tahlequah School District.

BPA student members compete in various events at SLC that test their skill and knowledge levels in over 400 competitive Business-related events.
