TPS WILL be in school tomorrow!
We’re excited to welcome our students and staff back! As always, safety comes first—if a bus driver finds any road unsafe, they will not travel on it.
Thank you for your continued support and flexibility as we take care of our TPS family.

After spending several hours today driving roads and monitoring conditions, we have determined that school will be canceled on Thursday, January 29th. While we hoped for continued improvement, many of the areas our families and buses travel remain unsafe.
Our 17 bus routes cover hundreds of miles each morning, including neighborhood and dirt roads that are expected to remain icy. The safety of our students and staff must come first.
We are very grateful to our city and county road crews who have been working tirelessly to improve conditions, and we truly appreciate their service and dedication.
Thank you for your patience and understanding. Please stay safe and warm.

Tahlequah Public Schools will NOT be in session on Wednesday, January 28th. This will be counted as a snow day.
Temperatures will be at dangerous levels this week.
Please stay warm and safe!
