Tahlequah Public Schools is excited to announce the unification of Central Academy and the Tahlequah Public Schools Outreach Center into one program: R.O.A.R. Academy & Outreach Center.
For many years, Central Academy has provided students with a non-traditional pathway to earning a high school diploma, while the Outreach Center has connected students and families with the support and resources needed to overcome challenges. Together, these programs have helped countless students find success.
By combining these two entities, Tahlequah Public Schools is creating a more unified approach to alternative education—one that seamlessly blends academics with student support services under a single vision.
The name R.O.A.R. stands for Removing Obstacles. Achieving Results. This reflects the district's commitment to ensuring every student has the opportunity to succeed, regardless of the obstacles they may face.
R.O.A.R. Academy & Outreach Center will continue the proud traditions of both Central Academy and the Outreach Center while expanding opportunities for students through a collaborative, student-centered approach. The unified program will focus on building relationships, removing barriers to learning, and empowering every student to achieve success.
Removing Obstacles. Achieving Results. Together.
