Tanya Jones

Tanya Jones serves as the Superintendent at Tahlequah Public Schools. She is a dedicated servant leader who has worked with students, teachers and their families for over 27 years. 16 of those years have been in the Tahlequah Public School district as a principal or district level administrator.

Tanya has lived in Cherokee County for over 40 years and graduated from Tahlequah High School. She attended Northeastern State University where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education and a Master of Education degree in School Administration. She is a member of and serves as a leader in many civic and non-profit organizations in this area and has a passion to make the lives of others better.

She has been married to her husband Duane for over 25 years. Duane is also a lifetime educator. She is the proud mother of Brodie, a fulltime firefighter and member of the Oklahoma National Guard, and Jaxon a NSU student and basketball player who is finishing a degree in physical education.

Tanya looks forward to many years as the leader of TPS!

DeAnn Mashburn

DeAnn Mashburn

DeAnn Mashburn has been an educator for the past 35 years as a teacher and administrator. She has committed 30 of those years to Tahlequah Public Schools and has great passion and dedication for providing a safe and caring school environment for all students. DeAnn has three children that attended Tahlequah Schools, and each of them had wonderful educational and extracurricular experiences.

DeAnn grew up in Coweta Oklahoma and attended Northeastern State University. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Education and Master of Education in School Administration. DeAnn enjoys working together with community and district stakeholders to provide a variety of positive opportunities for students and families.

She loves being a part of the Tahlequah Tiger family and will continue to be dedicated and grateful for the district she loves so much!

Kair Ridenhour

Executive Director of Elementary Education & Special Programs

Kair Ridenhour

Kair Ridenhour serves as the Executive Director of Elementary Education and Special Programs.  With 26 years of experience in the field of Education, he brings well rounded knowledge to the position.  Kair began his career in the classroom as a third and fourth grade Teacher where he spent the first 10 years.  As an Administrator, he has served in roles as the Assistant Principal, School Turnaround Officer and Building Principal. 

Kair is a Northeastern State University graduate, earning a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education, a Master of Education degree in School Administration and a Superintendent Certificate. 

Kair is a solid member of the team, committed to making a positive impact on both students and the Tahlequah community.

Lacie Wilson

Federal & State Programs and Grants Director

Lacie Wilson

Lacie Wilson is the Federal & State Programs and Grants Director.  She has served in Public Education for 22 years.  19 of those years have been with Tahlequah Public Schools.  She has been a Teacher, Assistant Principal, Elementary Principal, High School Principal, Homeless Liaison, Family and Community Engagement Director and now the Federal Programs Director.  She has absolutely loved every position that she had and learned something new along the way.  She loves learning and building relationships with students, teachers, families, and stakeholders. 

Lacie is an alumna of Northeastern State University.  She is married to Keith Wilson, and together they have five daughters.  He is also an alumnus of Northeastern State University.  There is never a dull moment in their house and not a lot of extra time for hobbies at the moment!  Gracie and Ellee graduated from Tahlequah High School and now attend Northeastern State University.  Lyndee will be a senior next year.  She attended ICTC, NSU at THS this last year.  Kinsley will be a freshman next year and Harper will be a 3rd grader. 

She loves Tahlequah and everything about the area.  She loves collaborating with community members to work together for the good of the community.  She is thankful to be a part of Tahlequah Public Schools.   

Nikki Molloy

Special Services & Family and Community Engagement Director

Nikki Molloy

Nikki Molloy serves as the Family and Community Engagement Director and Homeless Liaison.  Nikki has been in the education field for 19 years.  She started her journey as a Pre-K teacher at Tahlequah Public Schools and has continued to serve the district in building and district level administrator roles for the last 12 years.  

Nikki attended Northeastern State University where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education, a Master of Education degree in School Administration and a Superintendent’s Endorsement.  

She has a passion for the Tahlequah community and holds various roles in community organizations and participates in collaborative opportunities.  She has been married to her love, Andy Molloy for the last 20 years and they are blessed with 2 outstanding daughters.   Daily, a senior at Tahlequah High School and captain of the POM squad and Remi her “five going on fifteen-year-old” kindergartner at Greenwood Elementary are her greatest blessings.    

Nikki’s mission is to help our Tigers R.O.A.R (Removing Obstacles Achieving Results) by building partnerships throughout the community to remove barriers so that our students can become successful.  “Help other achieve their dreams and you will achieve yours.”  -Les Brown

Matt Cloud

Director of Athletics

Matt Cloud

Matt Cloud serves as the Director of Athletics at Tahlequah Public Schools. He is a passionate leader who has taught, coached and lead student- athletes for 25 years with 14 of those years being at Tahlequah Public Schools. 

Matt started his career as a college baseball coach making stops at Paris Junior College, Northeastern State University, Bacone College, Iowa Wesleyan College, and Friends University before moving back to Cherokee County in 2009. Cloud was a Division 1 baseball player, finishing his Bachelor and Master’s degree from Northeastern State University. Cloud led the Tahlequah Tiger Softball team to the state tournament 9 times, finishing State Runner Up two different times. Matt is member of several committees within his profession. 

Cloud has been married to Natalie Cloud for 25 years. Natalie is also a member of the admin team at Tahlequah Public Schools. They have one child, Kylee Cloud, who is a 6th grader at Briggs School. Kylee loves to play softball all over the country. 

Matt is dedicated to the student-athletes of Tahlequah. Where every day the coaches and himself make a difference!

Director of Technology

Robert Batson

Robert Batson serves as the Director of Technology. Robert has been in education technology for 20 years, and all of those years have been at Tahlequah Public Schools. He has been a Tech Assistant, Network Technician, Systems Manager, and Director of Technology.

Robert has lived in Tahlequah since 1998 and attended Northeastern University where he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration. He graduated Magna Cum Laude with an emphasis in Management Information Systems. Robert has been married to Shawna Batson for 25 years and has 2 children, Robby and Lily. Robby is a graduate from THS! (Valedictorian Class of 23').

Robert is also devoted to serving the community in various roles including serving on the Tahlequah Planning Commission.

Robert is committed to making technology propel student learning in Tahlequah.

Sabrina Garner

Sabrina Garner

Sabrina Garner serves as the Director of Finance at Tahlequah Public Schools.  She has dedicated the last 8 years of her life to Tahlequah PS to work with students, teachers and their families as a building Office Manager and at the district finance level.   

Sabrina has lived in Cherokee County for 40 years and graduated from Tahlequah High School. She attended Northeastern State University where she earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree.  She travels all over the state of Oklahoma presenting to other schools on finance procedures. She will travel to Washington D.C. this year to present at the national level. 

She has been married to her husband Wesley for 19 years.  She is the proud mother of Cade, a Tahlequah Middle school student.

Sabrina enjoys being a sports mom, gardening, traveling and playing with her labs Sadie and Ellie.

Sabrina looks forward to many more years at TPS!

Brad Jones

Director of Operations

Brad Jones

Brad Jones has been working in education for 17 years.  He spent the first 9 years of his career taking care of facilities at Northeastern State University.  From there, he began his service to  Tahlequah Public Schools in the area of operations for the past 8 years.  He hopes to continue to invest in the community of Tahlequah and impact student achievement by working to provide the best facilities possible. 

 Brad is a graduate from Tahlequah High School and earned his Bachelor of Technology degree with an emphasis in manufacturing from Northeastern State University.  He has also worked as an electrician for 24 years. 

 Brad has been married to Vallerie for 20 years.  She has also served as an educator for 20 years.  Together they share two daughters-Macy and Ava.  Macy is a graduate of Tahlequah and Ava will be a senior next year.  They are also proud grandparents to two grandchildren-Gus and Alora. 

Paul Martin

Director of Transportation

Paul Martin

Paul Martin serves as Director of Transportation at TPS. He has worked for the school district for the past 4 years. He has over 20 years of experience in the field of logistics, and a lifetime of experience working with young people.

Paul has lived in Northeast Oklahoma for 24 years. He is a deacon, Sunday school teacher, and youth ministry volunteer for his local church and is active in the community. He has been married to his wife Adrienne for 24 ½ years and is the father of 2 boys and 1 girl. Kenny has been a member of the US Space Force for 4 years, Owen is studying nursing at ICTC, and Iris is a freshman at Tahlequah High School.

Paul loves his job and enjoys helping families safely transport their students to school and to their many activities outside of the classroom. He looks forward to many more years here at TPS!
