In 2024 the Foundation was able to fund more than $14,000 in grants requested by TPS teachers for all schools. Grants touched on all levels of education with musical instruments, physical education materials, counseling department resources, improved communication in the Performing Arts Center, special education needs, school resource officer outreach, teacher materials, reading and math resources, and more.
We depend on donors from the community to supplement the funding for grants. There are many individuals and businesses that support TPSF by making donations throughout the year. One recent donation was $2,000 from Jeanette Kelley who said, “teachers are the backbone of student success,” and we couldn’t agree more. Please consider contributing to the Tahlequah Public Schools Foundation. With your help, we can build a brighter tomorrow, one student at a time.
TPSF board members and trustees are hard at work preparing for grant season, making next school year’s Food Truck Frenzy even better, and planning new fundraisers for the Fall. Stay tuned for these exciting events and ways to contribute. If you are interested in helping us help our schools, we are always looking for new volunteers to join us on the Tahlequah Public Schools Foundation board.
