It’s been an exciting and memorable Spring for Tahlequah Athletics, as our student-athletes have once again demonstrated excellence both on the field and in the classroom
This spring was another outstanding season for Tahlequah athletics, highlighted by team success, individual championships, and continued growth across multiple programs.
Our baseball program made tremendous strides this season, finishing with an 18-18 record and earning a Regional Runner-Up finish after winning just nine games a year ago. The improvement and competitiveness shown throughout the season reflected the hard work and commitment of our student-athletes and coaching staff.
Softball also had a strong year, finishing 19-16 and advancing to a Regional Runner-Up finish. The Lady Tigers competed at a high level all season and continued to build momentum for the future of the program.
Both soccer teams made the state playoffs for the first time in several years, marking a major step forward for the program and demonstrating the growth and progress made throughout the season.
Girl’s golf had one of the top seasons in school history, finishing 5th in the state competition. Leading the way was state champion Kylie Fisher, whose outstanding performance brought home an individual state title and added another major accomplishment to Tahlequah athletics.
Both boys and girls’ tennis teams qualified for the state meet, showcasing the continued strength and consistency of our tennis program. Reaching state competition in both programs is a testament to the dedication of our athletes and coaches throughout the year.
The girls track team capped off an incredible spring by finishing as the 5A State Runner-Up. The team produced numerous individual state champions and demonstrated excellence across multiple events throughout the state meet.
We are extremely proud of all of our student-athletes, coaches, and supporters for an outstanding spring season. The success across our programs reflects the culture of hard work, commitment, and pride that continues to define Tahlequah athletics.
As the Spring season winds down, it’s clear that Tahlequah Athletics has much to celebrate. From championships and postseason runs to academic honors and personal growth, the Tigers continue to set a high standard for excellence. The future is bright, and the determination shown this fall will carry forward into the winter and spring seasons ahead.
We encourage everyone to attend an upcoming event and continue supporting Tahlequah Athletics. Go Tigers!
